
St Mary's College, Broome, is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Catholic Co-Educational College, in the Kimberley Region in the far northwest of Western Australia.
The establishment of St Mary's is closely linked with the early days of the Church's presence in the Kimberley and the pearling era of Broome and dates back to 1908. The college is a Catholic School that provides education from Kindergarten to Year 12 for parents who desire a Catholic education for their children. The College caters for the diverse educational, spiritual and cultural needs of its students by promoting self esteem and initiative. It offers them skills to take their place confidently in society while living according to Christian values
September 23rd, 2009 saw the official launch of the Australian Marine Debris Initiative with presentations at a number of schools in Broome, northwest Western Australia and a beach clean up conducted by students of St Mary's College.
Grade 6 students and teacher joined in for a beach clean up on Broome's Town Beach.
